https://jurnal.stiekn.ac.id/index.php/tmji/article/view/798

This study attempts to examine the relationship between human capital, economic growth, the impact of carbon emissions, and the adoption of renewable energy in Indonesia. The research data is taken from secondary data from the World Bank covering the period from 2004 to 2020. The variables analyzed include Health, GDP Growth, Carbon Emissions, and Renewable Energy, using vector autoregressive analysis to obtain an overview of the impact of carbon emissions and renewable energy utilization. The results show that there is a negative correlation between health and carbon emissions, which indicates that increasing human capital through better health has the potential to increase carbon emissions. Improved human health usually implies increased economic productivity and technological infrastructure, which ultimately increases the use of energy resources and the potential for increasing carbon emissions. On the other hand, increased economic growth provides an impetus for more efficient and environmentally friendly technologies. As the economy grows, more resources and investment are available to develop renewable energy, which can reduce dependence on fossil fuels that significantly contribute to increasing carbon emissions in Indonesia. Therefore, policymakers are considering sustainable development techniques to reduce carbon emissions while promoting economic growth and human resource development
Meinarti PuspaningtyasMuhammad Nur Sholeh

https://jurnal.stiekn.ac.id/index.php/tmji/article/view/805

This research explores the influence of human capital and international trade on poverty levels and economic growth in Indonesia, using data from the World Bank covering the period from 2001 to 2020. The variables used include education and health as representations of human capital and exports and imports as representations of international trade, poverty, and economic growth. The analysis used the vector autoregressive model (VECM) to examine these variables' relationships. The research results show that improving the quality of human capital positively contributes to economic growth, with education and health having a significant impact. Education also proves to enhance international trade through exports and imports, but it also has a negative impact on poverty. Additionally, exports have a significant negative impact on poverty and a significant positive impact on economic growth. These findings support the hypothesis that increasing human capital and international trade reduces poverty and economic growth in Indonesia. Therefore, policymakers must develop investment strategies in human capital and balance international trade to achieve sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty
Muhammad Imam Turmudi

2024-07-172024-07-171419393THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL ASPECTS AND PRODUCTIVITY TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN INDONESIA
https://jurnal.stiekn.ac.id/index.php/tmji/article/view/806

The interplay among life sustainability indicators, education, health, and enduring economic development exhibits mutually reinforcing dynamics. The present study quantifies these interdependencies within the Indonesian context, utilising the vector error correction model (VECM) framework over a two-decade span from 1999 to 2022. The evidence generated underscores the significance of contemporaneous and lagged interrelationships. Economic expansion, oriented towards sustainability, consequently catalyses enhancements in the educational system, thereby elevating productive capacity. Concomitantly, the increment in national income expands the fiscal space required to guarantee comprehensive and equitable healthcare access, resulting in a healthier labour force. As the populace engages with augmented educational and health inputs, life expectancy and per capita productivity both experience upward movement. Taken together, these mechanisms substantiate a policy agenda that prioritises improved, equitable access to educational and healthcare services as a cornerstone of durable economic development
Nurul Sahara
