The The Role of Education in Indonesia's Economic Development: Theoretical Perspective of Human Capital

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the role of education in Indonesia's economic development from a theoretical perspective of human capital. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a moving average auto regression model to see the relationship between education and health, technological development, poverty and GDP in Indonesia. We found that education plays a role in promoting economic, health, technological development and suppresses or is negatively related to poverty.
