Abstract

The performance of community service activities, especially education on consumer protection for online buying and selling transactions, is considered important for the MSME community of Kampung Kue Rungkut Surabaya, considering that in its current development the tendency is for many young mothers to carry out buying and selling transactions through online shops, which in reality is felt to make things easier and Efficient for consumers, but on the other hand, it is also starting to cause many problems, such as the goods delivered not matching those ordered, delays in delivering ordered goods, and even orders that do not arrive, which is detrimental to consumers. In connection with this, it is considered important to carry out community service activities related to the promotion of consumer protection regarding online buying and selling transactions. The activity method begins with the preparation stage, then the implementation stage and finally the reporting stage which is planned to be completed within a period of 3 months. The results and outcomes of activities after implementing the program have been achieved, namely, consumers, in this case partners, namely MSMEs, have increased their understanding of the importance of e-commerce, especially online marketing and its legal aspects.
