PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN, PERPUTARAN KAS, PERPUTARAN PIUTANG, DAN PERPUTARAN PERSEDIAAN TERHADAP NET PROFIT MARGIN PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

The research’s purpose was to understand the effect of sales growth, cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and inventoryturnover on the net profit margin. This type of research used descriptive statistics with quantitative approaches. The researchsamples were nine plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for 4 years starting from 2017 to2020. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. Data sources used secondary data, namely financial statements. The analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21 software. The results of this study indicate that in the normality test, the data in this study are normally distributed. In the linear test the variable sales growth and inventory turnover has a linear relationship to the net profit margin. Partially sales growth has a positive effect on the net profit margin with a value, cash turnover has a significant negativeeffect  with a value of .399, inventory turnover also positively with a value of and inventory  turnover  also  has  a  negative effect  with  a  value  of Simultaneously,  these  independent  variables  have  a  significant  effect.  Cash turnover has adominant influence on the net profit margin, this is evidenced by the cash turnover regression coefficient higher than the valueof other independent variable.
